What is important when choosing a mattress:

Sleeping position is one of the factors that determine the necessary mattress firmness to achieve maximum body relaxation and ensure stable orthopedic support.

• On your side: choose a medium or medium-soft mattress that keeps the spine properly aligned and adapts to your body's curves. Memory foam in the cover or as an additional layer in the core will fulfill this function and also minimize tossing and turning during sleep.

• On your back: this is the healthiest sleeping position for rest, keeping the spine in a neutral position. For this sleeping position, firm and orthopedic mattresses are recommended, providing maximum support and comfort for pressure points. These include mattresses with seven support zones and firmness adapted to these points.

• On your stomach: Specialists increasingly recommend avoiding sleeping on your stomach. Although changing your sleeping habits can be difficult, in the long term this will have a positive effect on your body and rest. If you find it difficult to fall asleep in another position, it is best to choose firm or medium-firm mattresses that provide support to help maintain the proper shape of the spine. If your mattress is too soft, your pelvis will sink into it, which will cause spinal misalignment.

Personal preferences: consider every extra feature you would like your mattress to have and do not compromise. This may include the temperature-regulating properties of the textiles, anti-allergy properties, personal preferences, cooling textiles, and more.

Who will sleep on the mattress: If you are looking for a double mattress for yourself and your partner but have different firmness preferences, consider models with two cores of different firmness in a single cover. You can find such mattresses from the Italian manufacturer Magniflex.

Weight is also an important factor to consider. To obtain maximum orthopedic support, choose a medium-firm to firm mattress so that you do not sink too deeply into it.

Is there a trial period?

We offer trial periods for Sleepy mattresses.
* An important condition is that the product meets the trial-period requirements:

• The mattress must be marked in its description as having a "30-day trial period" or a "100-day trial period". 

• The mattress must have been used with a waterproof protector purchased from matraci.bg.

• You must have the original invoice/receipt and warranty card.

• The item must be in saleable condition, with no signs of use such as dirt or stains.

• The cover of a double-sided mattress must not have been washed. A lifting mechanism must not be attached to a single-sided mattress.

• Keep the original packaging and label.

• You must have slept on the mattress for at least 20 days to experience its qualities fully and ensure that this mattress is not suitable for you. It usually takes a person at least 3 weeks to get used to a new mattress. 

• If the purchased item came with a gift, the value of the gift will be deducted from the refund amount.

Complete the product return and replacement form on our website, www.matraci.bg, or send an email to sales@matraci.bg. You must attach 5 clear photos of the mattress from all sides. After that, our consultant will contact you within 5 business days.

It is important to know that the 30- or 100-day trial period offers replacement with another product from the same brand—Sleepy.

Our consultant will contact you to confirm the replacement. You are required to package the mattress properly to protect it from possible damage during transport. If you package the mattress in stretch film, it will not be accepted by our team at the warehouse and will be returned to you.

A poorly packaged mattress damaged during transport will not be accepted by our staff and will be returned to the customer. Therefore, be sure to insure the product you send.

Transportation costs in both directions are entirely the customer's responsibility.

What is the product warranty?

Every product purchased from matraci.bg comes with a manufacturer's warranty. It is important to know that each manufacturer has its own warranty validity conditions.

When receiving the goods you ordered, make sure they are in saleable condition in the presence of the courier. If you notice any damage or stains, notify the courier, who will prepare a Damaged Shipment Report. Claims are not accepted for goods that were damaged or soiled after receipt.

When unpacking, look for the warranty card for the product you purchased. Different manufacturers place this document in different locations. Some attach it to the outside of the plastic wrap in a courier pouch, others attach it in a visible location on the outside of the product, while others place the warranty card inside the factory plastic wrap, where you can find it after unpacking.

When unpacking your mattress or mattress topper, do not use sharp cutting tools. Carefully remove the plastic wrap and allow the mattress to regain its normal dimensions and shape (if it was rolled).

Every mattress or mattress topper delivered rolled up must be unpacked within 30 days of being received by the customer. Otherwise, the warranty becomes void.

Using a bed base is mandatory for double-sided mattresses, and a base with wooden slats is recommended.

Single-sided mattresses and double-size bed bases should be placed on beds with a central support rail (the slat that runs through the middle of the bed) for additional support and to prevent breakage or warping.

With some mattresses, it is normal to notice an odor immediately after unpacking. Don't worry—it is harmless. Like any new item, the odor will dissipate within two to three days.

The warranty period is stated in the description of each product and, accordingly, in the warranty card.
