The Administrator works with advertising partners such as [Facebook, Instagram] for social media advertising and with [Google] for online advertising networks such as [Google Ads and Google Marketing Platform].
How this works: Advertising partners use the data we provide, collected through cookies and other tracking technologies, to anticipate your preferences and interests and use them to create personalized advertising. This is standard industry practice, known as "retargeting." Retargeting allows us to conduct advertising campaigns that match your interests, measure the effectiveness and reach of advertising materials. It also allows us to measure the performance of advertising partners and campaign effectiveness. Advertising partners use cookies and other similar technologies to track how you use our websites by accessing data stored on your device or in applications. Our Advertising Partners allow us to identify and interact with the appropriate target audience, create and distribute personalized marketing content across various platforms and services. To be able to select content that matches your interests, we may use information obtained from you as a member, account holder, newsletter subscriber, or if you have made a purchase with us. We may share this information and customer identifiers, such as an encrypted email address or device ID General Information, with our Advertising Partners. The purpose is to show you relevant ads on third-party websites and applications. To do this, your data is matched with the Advertising Partner's database. If a match is found, you will receive relevant promotional content on your channel or search engine. If no match is found, your data will be securely destroyed. Your personal data is processed securely using a technique called hashing. This ensures that your data is encoded in a way that makes it unreadable to anyone other than the recipient of the data for the explicitly defined purpose. Each Advertising Partner is responsible for its part of the processing as a data controller, including (if it carries out such) for the transfer of personal data to countries outside the EEA.
Basis for processing: When we send you direct marketing materials, we rely on your consent to receive personalized newsletters and text messages. We use pixels in email newsletters to measure recipient engagement metrics, for which we rely on your consent given to receive direct marketing materials. Furthermore, for the use of cookies or similar tracking technologies in your browser/device, we rely on your consent obtained through a cookie banner. We may use your personal data to improve targeted marketing campaigns through our advertising partners, relying on our legitimate interest as a commercial organization to present our products to you, as well as up-to-date information on improvements in our services. (Paragraph 47 of the Preamble to the GDPR).
In case you do not agree to us sending you direct marketing, please express your disagreement by notifying us at the provided contact details.
